Well shit, looks like I missed 2 months. Once upon a time, March 30th if you will, I wrote a recap of all the 2012 “What are you Drinking Tonight?” posts, mapping out anything that had been consumed by our fellow readers in the prior 3 months. Since that time, not a single new “What are you Drinking Tonight?” post went up. So for that I say – Whoops, my bad. I’ve still been drinking though, I can promise you that. Mostly I’ve gone with a Palate Wrecker, then a Deviant Dale’s, then probably back to a Palate Wrecker. Throw in about a thousand Sierra Pale Ale cans and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 2 months. And you know what? I can almost guarantee you that’s my lineup for tonight. Nothing outlandish or rare, I know, but this is my idea of heaven. Those beers, and fish tacos – That is heaven my friends.
Enough about me though…
What are you drinking tonight?

PARABOLA
Ass Kisser DIPA. Inlaws arrive tomorrow and I want to be ready.
I might pop open a bottle of The Bruery’s Mother Funker (and pair it with some good funky cheese from Vermont (Winnimere and Salva Cremasco.)) Otherwise, I’m on the lookout for a good Brett.
That Mother Funker is something else. Make sure the cheese is nice and strong. It is another level of sour.
Yeah, some of the reviews are “Unique and outstanding!” while more than a few have been, “This tastes like bile!” Just in case, I’ll definitely have some backup beers.
I love sours and it was by far the most sour beer I’ve ever had by a longshot.
I’m so-so on sours, so I may wait on that one until I am in like-minded company rather than try to choke it all down myself. I just picked up a bottle of Hop God, so I’m leaning towards that one tonight instead.
Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster for a start then either a Short’s anniversary ale blood orange & or drink me some 2 heart on tap @ the tire shop. Gonna have a camp/ cooking fire with some fresh greenbeans, bacon & taters in cast iron, Yum
Anniversary Blood Orange Wheatwine for me as well. Really gets better as it warms
Gonna grab a bottle of Grimm Brothers Griffin and see if my homebrewed berliner wiesse is ready to drink.
Avery IPA sixer in some dope-ass aluminum wrapping (I am physically unable to pass by a newly canned craft beer classic without picking some up, and have yet to be disappointed), SN Hoptimum, Deviant Dale, Stone TBA, Bell’s Kalamazoo Stout. I could go on.
Doc is back on the horse! Yee-haw!
Low-key tonight…two Storm Kings and a Dirty Bastard. Need to stay sharp for the Magic City Brewfest tomorrow. I plan on drinking two of everything…maybe three.
Anything up for Saturday? Just popped open a Hoppin’ Frog Master’s Abbey Belgian-Style Double IPA. I also got a Lost Abbey Red Poppey Ale. Come on, how could a resist a tiny corked bottle for the bargain price of $16? For that price, it has to be good (doesn’t hurt that everything they make is exceptional, can’t imagine this is any different)
Tonight? I’ve got a bottle of CC Hunahpu, and I’m notoriously poor at cellaring beer… it’s probably going down shortly.
Come on, you knew that Hunahpu wasn’t lasting more than a couple of weeks. I’m proud of you that you didn’t drink it with bubble wrap still hanging off the side. And yes, as always, I’m extremely jealous of your good fortune.
Everyone knows Imperial Stouts are best consumed fresh. #stophoardingbeerfuckos
Ryeking by Amager bryghus/Goose Island. yummm
Just got back from a founders tap takeover at the spinnerstown hotel and had my first kbs!
Oak Creek Brewing — Hefeweizen
Good beer + fish tacos, yes! My favorite combination. Recently I’ve been enjoying some home-brewed imperial white. Delicious.
